im not sure what the price is gonna be on it probably the 500-600 range.. but thats msrp. cycle gear doesnt sell their shoeis at msrp. i wouldnt really call it a sport touring helmet though id just say its a mid range helmet. hahah cause not everyone can afford them super expensive full race helmets. it sure is pretty damn gangster compared to the rf-1000 though and i loved mine.. i cant wait for whatever is gonna replace the x-11. it should be coming out soon since everything is going to the snell 2010 rating. the only thing ive seen with the new snell 2010 rating is the new corsair and the shoei and arai dirt helmets. so both companies gotta do some catching up. but on the other hand a lot of other companies are not even going to attempt to be snell certified because 1. it cost way to much with all the changes from snell 2005 - snell 2010. 2. all the research to meet these new ratings which actually trickles down into it just costing way to much. id recomend anyone looking to buy really expensive helmet like 500 up shoei or arai id wait for the snell 2010 helmets to come out. all the snell 2005 helmets are already starting to get closed out so keep an eye out if you just want another helmet but dont need or want anything snell 2010.
