ok well I figured out that the problem isn't in the top end......(kinda figured that much)

Stirpped down! to my surprise, it didn't swing around a pole while it got like this


Cylinders off, the pistons are a little dirty but hey,.... the bike is 31!!! normal wear as far as I can see...

The next episode will be the bottom end, I think that's where the problem is,..... we'll see

taking it apart always goes fast (provided you have help lifting the motor out of the frame)

The real test will be putting it back together
but that will be slow anyhow I wanna repaint the frame, engine case & give everything a good scrubbin' before reassembly
